As I reflect on my time serving as Chaplain for the Daughters of the King in the Diocese of Los Angeles, my heart overflows with gratitude. It has been one of the great privileges of my ministry to walk alongside each of you, faithful, devoted women of prayer and service.
In our time together, I have found not just a role, but a sisterhood—rooted deeply in Christ’s love, lifted up by shared prayers, and strengthened by the Holy Spirit’s abiding presence. You welcomed me with grace, supported me with your intercessions, and inspired me with your steadfast commitment to your chapters, your churches, and the wider world. Whether gathered in Assembly or connecting through notes, phone calls, and emails, I have felt the pulse of this sacred fellowship beating strong and true.
Serving as your Chaplain during times of both joy and sorrow has been a holy trust. It has been my honor to offer guidance and comfort in moments of loss and difficulty, and to lift each of you in prayer as you carried out your leadership and service.
As my term concludes following the upcoming Spring Assembly, please know I will carry each of you in my prayers as you seek a new chaplain to walk this next season with you. May the Spirit guide you to one who will care for your hearts, support your callings, and uphold the mission of the Order with wisdom and love.
I remain your sister in Christ, always: cheering you on, lifting you up, and thanking God for the time we have shared.
With deep gratitude and love,
Chaplain Linda
