Spring 2025 Study Course

Welcome and Information Session

Is God calling you to a life of prayer and service? Do you wish to reinstate your membership or reaffirm your vows as a Daughter? Are you planning to mentor others through the discernment process?

This three-month, six-session journey of discernment is designed specifically for any woman communicant of the Episcopal Church who is listening for the call to become a member of The Order of the Daughters of the KingĀ®… AND

For any Daughter who wishes to reinstate her membership in the Order… AND

For any Daughter who would like to review the Rule of Prayer and the Rule of Service to which she vowed and is rededicating herself… AND

For any Daughter who may be guiding others through the discernment and preparation process toward membership.

In the six sessions of this course, we will cover the contents of the National Study Guide of the Order, also read together and discuss the book on Benedictine Spirituality titled How to Live by Judith Valente.

The session dates are March 8, March 22, April 5, April 26, May 24, and June 7.

The suggested donation of $25 covers registration and downloadable materials. Scholarships are also available through the generosity of other participants.
