A Message from the Diocesan Treasurer
Our annual dues and chapter audits are due this Fall from each daughter and chapter.
The annual dues are used to support the work of the Order at the national, provincial, and diocesan levels and include a subscription to The Royal Cross. The annual dues from each daughter support the national operations of the Order, enabling us to live out our mission of extending Christ’s Kingdom through prayer, service, and evangelism.
Although we as daughters are not allowed to raise money in the name of the Order, our individual giving spreads Christ’s Kingdom in many ways.
The Four Funds of the Order
1. Self Denial Fund supports missionaries and missions around the world. Self Denial grantssupport missionaries and mission trips for both senior and Junior Daughters. (ingathering February 2nd)
2. Masters Fund provides financial assistance to women for seminary education scholarships and continuing education. (ingathering Pentecost)
3. The Alpha Fund for Junior Daughters provides financial support to the junior directresses in their efforts to extend Christ’s Kingdom among young women and girls. (ingathering September 5th)
4. Endowment Fund supports the continuing work of the order in the extension of Christ’s Kingdom, including the National Office on Woodstock, GA. (ingathering November 1st)
Chapters observe annual dates for giving to each Fund, but additional contributions can be made at any time.
New Dues Assistance Policy
Each Daughter is responsible to pay her dues individually each year.
Effective January 1, 2026 there is a Dues Assistance Policy and an Application for Dues Assistance that can be filled out and given to your local chapter president if assistance is needed. The application can then be submitted with dues paid by your parish or your local chapter.
If funds are not available, the application should be signed by your clergy and forwarded to the Diocesan Assembly President. It is important to know that funds are set aside for dues assistance at the Diocesan, Provincial, and National levels so no Daughter need worry about her membership due to temporary financial hardship.
Note: If a Daughter finds herself in extended circumstances of financial hardship she may apply for Permanent Dues Relief. This will continue her membership in the Order, but she will not continue to receive The Royal Cross subscription and she may not hold office at the Chapter or any other level.
If you have any questions, please contact Amy Givan: treasurer@doklosangeles.org
More information will be provided at the Fall Assembly to each chapter regarding an Annual Chapter Balance Sheet required by the National Office for IRS compliance.
